The Sunday Times: December 2008-February 2009

  • I have had three features commissioned.  One feature on Terry Pratchett and Alzheimer’s was published in January 2009 with a picture byline and another feature was published in February 2009.

The Guardian and The Guardian Weekly: Various dates 2003- present.

  • I did a first-person piece for an article on a debate over the neo-colonist effect of the boom of young volunteers abroad. I have been invited back for a work placement over Easter 2009.
  • I have worked on the Guardian’s news desk and extensively on the Guardian Weekly.

The Mirror: February 2009-March 2009

  • I did two shifts a week on the news desk and, uploading content, editing and writing
  • I had several stories published, including my own exclusive on a new Banksy work.

The Times: February 2008

  • I was recruited to be part of a student interviewer team for articles on graduate employment.

The Observer: Summer 2008

  • Worked with Oliver Marre on the Pendennis column, contributing news and gossip for his column and spent some time on the Observer Woman Magazine.

The Daily Star, Beirut: April 2009-present

  • Copy editor and reporter.  Write on local and regional politics, business and human rights.


Nottingham Evening Post: January 2008

  • I investigated a major fraud case using contacts at the Insolvency Bureau as part of my own story
  • I worked with the court correspondent on high-profile stories at the crown court.

St Albans Review: January 2009

  • Two double page spread features, one on the inauguration of the new bishop of St Albans.

Borehamwood Times: Summer 2008

  • Several features and news pieces were published online and in the weekly paper.

Barnet Press: January 2009

  • Splash with a story on Andrew Parker Bowles and a page three lead with my FOI on knife crime prevention in secondary schools.
